The Gift of Presence

Cabo Heart Yoga was born from a longing to share presence in its simplest form: stillness that restores, movement that prays, breath that remembers. Inspired by the contemplative wisdom of Advaita Vedanta, the introspective path of Self-Inquiry, the devotional beauty of Tantra, and the integrative vision of Yoga as taught by sages such as Ramana Maharshi, Vivekananda, and Adi Shankaracharya, our work invites guests and partners to experience the quiet luxury of returning to the Heart.

We create spaces where silence becomes hospitality — where a sunrise practice by the sea, a private session on a terrace, or a leadership immersion becomes more than a service: it becomes a moment of truth, simplicity, and care. Our approach rests on the same universal principles that have illuminated seekers across time: awareness, compassion, balance, and the remembrance of our shared essence.

Cabo Heart Yoga partners with villas, resorts, and wellness teams to curate experiences that are calm, intentional, and beautifully executed. We bring guidance and presence; our hosts provide the setting. Together, we honor the essence of Baja — its light, its quiet horizons, its generous space to begin again.

Raúl Tiburcio - Founder & Facilitator

I have spent my life listening for the silence behind every gesture — first through the quiet devotion of Christian contemplation, and later through the luminous clarity of Advaita Vedanta, the self-inquiry of Ramana Maharshi, and the embodied intimacy of Yoga and Tantra. For me, the Heart has never been a concept but a presence — the still point from which love, awareness, and action unfold.

As a queer man, this journey became both spiritual and existential from an early age. The question “Who am I?” was not philosophical — it was survival, then liberation. The dissolution of identity revealed that queerness itself can be a mirror of divine wholeness: the dance of masculine and feminine, of stillness and movement, alive in all beings. This is why I often and proudly say God is Queer — not as defiance, but as remembrance of what has never been separate.

In parallel, my professional path has unfolded through leadership and transformation — guiding teams, brands, and organizations in processes of renewal and alignment. I discovered that awareness — the same silent clarity cultivated in contemplation — is also the most transformative force in the world of human collaboration.

Though I share these practices, I remain above all a student — learning to listen, to return, to bow before the quiet intelligence of life. Each class, each encounter, is another glimpse of consciousness revealing itself through the simplest moments: the breath, the ocean, the eyes of another being. What I offer through Cabo Heart Yoga is not teaching, but devotion — an invitation to remember, together.

  • Yes. Cabo Heart Yoga is designed for anyone seeking calm, clarity, and reconnection — no background required. Guests are guided gently and can approach the practice physically, energetically, emotionally, or contemplatively according to their comfort.

  • It refers to a way of practicing where the focus is not just on the body, but on cultivating clarity, compassion, and presence. Heart-centered practice invites:

    • moving slowly,

    • pausing to feel,

    • listening inwardly,

    • reconnecting with what matters most.

This subtle orientation is what gives Cabo Heart Yoga its contemplative and restorative depth.

  • Advaita Vedanta is a nondual tradition pointing to the essence of our being — the awareness behind all experiences. In practical terms, this inspires the quiet, spacious tone of our sessions.

No philosophy lesson is required; it simply means the practice is an invitation to rest in presence, not to try to “achieve” anything.

  • Self-Inquiry, inspired by the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi, is a contemplative method that explores the essential question: “Who am I?”. It is not analytical or philosophical — it is a direct, experiential turning inward. In our sessions, Self-Inquiry means:

    • noticing the sense of “I” behind experience,

    • cultivating presence rather than effort,

    • observing emotions or identity roles without being defined by them,

    • and discovering a deeper stillness beneath mental activity.

Many guests find this approach surprisingly natural, especially those navigating life transitions, leadership roles, or personal transformation.

  • Hridaya Meditation is a gentle, silent practice centered on resting in the natural stillness of the Heart — the inner space of awareness behind thoughts, emotions, and sensations. Rather than trying to “stop the mind,” this method invites an attitude of softness, presence, and curiosity. In practice, guests are guided to:

    • relax the body,

    • soften into breath,

    • allow thoughts to rise and dissolve naturally,

    • and feel the quiet joy of simply being.

It is accessible to complete beginners and offers a profoundly calming and centering experience for travelers seeking reconnection.

  • Hridaya Hatha Yoga is a gentle and meditative style of yoga in which postures are held slowly and mindfully, inviting practitioners to rest in presence rather than effort. The emphasis is on feeling the body from within, observing sensations, and finding stillness in each movement and pause.

    A note on subtle-energy centers:

During the practice, we acknowledge the natural qualities associated with the body’s subtle-energy centers — often known as chakras in yogic traditions. Rather than focusing on technical explanations or symbolism, these centers are simply referenced as felt qualities that help guide awareness:

    • grounding,

    • openness,

    • clarity,

    • inner strength,

    • spaciousness of the Heart.

Guests do not need any prior knowledge of the chakra system; it serves only as a quiet, supportive framework for cultivating presence and deeper self-awareness. Hridaya Hatha Yoga remains accessible, gentle, and rooted in the simplicity of being here.

  • Cabo Heart Yoga practices are intentionally gentle and meditative, yet each body is unique. While many guests experience the sessions as grounding and restorative, holding postures with awareness can also invite a deeper internal challenge — especially for those new to slow, contemplative movement.

Our approach is universal and adaptable. Every offering is curated according to the guest’s needs, mobility, and level of comfort. Whether someone seeks a deeply restorative session or a more engaged, steady practice, the experience is adjusted with care so that each participant feels supported, safe, and at ease.

The aim is never physical performance; it is presence, clarity, and inner connection.

  • Because they offer a clear, compassionate path for reconnecting with inner stability — even in the midst of travel, change, or busy lives. They do not require any belief system. They simply create the conditions for awareness, calm, and clarity to emerge.
